MASCOT 2022
The mascot represents the Keffiyeh, a scarf worn on the head by several people in the Arab world, usually made from cotton. As usual, the World Cup mascots, existing since 1966, represent some traditional characteristic of the host country. In addition, the name of the mascot in Arabic means “super-skilled player”.
The mascot is called La'eeb.
